Prostate is a male gland needed for reproductive functions, it produces fluid used for sperm transport for the purpose of ejaculation. Prostate can grow slowly and affect urinary tract causing problems, this affects many men and the risk gets increased with age. Prostate enlargement also causes bladder problems and related complications.
If your doctor has determined that you do NOT have prostate cancer, but have a large prostate, what causes this to happen in the first place? I am aware that frequent urination is a main sign of an enlarged prostate, but what causes the prostate to grow in the first place?

First off I don’t think I possess any of the associated symptoms but while I was masturbating I was curious and thought I’d stimulate it. I’ve done this once before probably over a year ago and my prostate was walnut sized as it should be. Today though, I found it to be much bigger and I got no pleasure from stimulating it but a slight discomforting pressure. Even at such a young age(17) can your prostate become enlarged?
are you having trouble weeing or is difficult, uneven or is intentional
have blood in your urine
having burning Sensations when you take a leak or ejaculate
have pain in the upper thighs lower back or pelvis
if you have similar systems as above it often indicates normal enlargement for your age or you have been drinking to much water or under a lot of stress
be warned while prostate cancer can be caused by these system it can also be system less if you have any concerns about your prostate see your doctor a.s.p

This video, #26, was made two years after my robotic radical prostatectomy. In this type of prostate cancer surgery the surgeon moves the robotic arm while sitting at a computer monitor near the operating table. The nerve bundles on either side of the prostate are responsible for erections and if they appear to be cancer-free, the surgeon usually will not remove them. This modified operation is called a nerve-sparing radical prostatectomy. After my prostate cancer surgery, the pathology report on the removed prostate gland was good, but my surgeon always has the fatty tissue that is around the prostate gland analyzed (most doctors do NOT have this done), it turned out in my case, that prostate cancer was found in the lymph nodes of this tissue. Again, in my case, the recommended course of action was hormone therapy, not to kill the cancer (there is no cure for prostate cancer) but to slow its progress.
